I bet you have already seen the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, featuring world No. 2 Rafael Nadal, supermodel Bar Refaeli, as well as LA Clippers guard Chris Paul, and Olympic Swimming Champion Michael Phelps, but here are some more pics.
I really felt the chemistry between Bar Refaeli and Michael Phelps, and that between her and Chris Paul, but when I saw the pics of the Spaniard 10-times Grand Slam champion, I felt the opposite way.
Five tournaments, which ended last week, gave all the tennis fans across the world much a reason to cheer and be happy for their favorite players. Last week saw two successful title defenses, one sensational first-time champ, and of course, 71st title won by the majestic Roger Federer.
But let’s start from the beginning.
Several news agencies and Russian bloggers reported today that Maria Sharapova and her long-time boyfriend Sasha Vujacic will get married this fall.
According to a popular Russian social web-site, tennis superstar Maria Sharapova and former LA Lakers Guard Sasha Vujacic are going to get married on November 10th. Several weeks ago Vujacic admitted that they plan to wed this year during in an exclusive interview with Russian news agency, RIA Novosti, but said it’s up to his girlfriend to share the exact date of their wedding with the reporters.
Novak Djokovic added another trophy to his growing collection, winning the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award during a ceremony held in London on February, 6th.
The Serbian won three Grand Slam tournaments last yea – Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open – and reached No. 1 in the ATP Rankings. He achieved a 70-6 season record, which included an unbelievable 41-match winning streak, which ended in the Roland Garros semis with a defeat to Roger Federer in the Roland Garros semi-finals.
He continued his Grand Slam winning streak, by winning his fifth Major at the Australian Open in January, defeating Rafael Nadal, in one of the longest Grand Slam finals.
